Rental Accommodation Upgrades Finished

Our three-year project to renovate and upgrade all our rental units is complete. New roofs, new exterior paint, shutters, remodeled interiors, new furniture and bedding, and many other upgrades have been made. The Cottage 6 renovation is complete and TI Marina is excited to introduce a Western-themed cottage, “Remington’s Bunkhouse” named after famous Western artist Frederick Remington, who was from the Thousand Islands area. The Bunkhouse is added to our other three themed cottages: Americana, Southern Comfort, and Gone Fishing.

Boat Launch Closed to the Public in 2017

TI Marina has a private boat launch which in the past has been open for public use. Last year, we closed the launch to the public. Again this year, the launch will be closed to the public. This is in response to concerns over safety issues.

New Rental Boat

TI Marina has added a 26′ Playboy Yachtsman to our rental fleet. It has a 60 HP Yamaha 4 stroke motor. It has very basic seating, a nice metal canopy, and should be perfect for fishing.

We have also upgraded our 20′ StarCraft rental pontoon with a 60 HP Yamaha 4 stroke, which will give it a lot of extra pep.

Remembering Richie

As most of you know, we lost our beloved Richie Matula, who passed away suddenly at his home last July. Richie, who had been a part of the Thousand Islands Marina family from the start, was someone that was always there to greet you, always there to lend a hand, always there with a quip and a smile to make your day a little bit better. Words cannot begin to express how much we miss Richie, especially as we start the season without him, for the first time. We love you. RIP Richie Matula.
